1. The service

PolySub provides a browser extension that displays and translates video subtitles, this website, and optional paid services ("PolySub Pro"). By installing the extension or creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Free features

Basic instant (non-AI) subtitle translation is free and does not require an account. Community subtitles are also free and unlimited. A Free account includes no managed-AI credits. Every account may start one 7-day PolySub Pro trial, once, which grants 200 PolySub AI credits and requires no payment method; unused trial credits expire with the trial. A Free account can publish manual translations subject to trust and safety gates.

3. PolySub Pro and managed AI

Paid checkout is not open yet. Prices shown on the pricing page are planned launch prices and no payment can be submitted.

Pro includes PolySub AI credits for translation, subtitle drafting and editing, Live Transcribe, exports, styling, and advanced creator tools. PolySub selects and manages the underlying AI services. Credit costs vary by tool and are shown before eligible actions.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.

5. Subscriptions, credits & refunds

Paid checkout, when available, uses Omise to process cards, PromptPay, and TrueMoney. Card details and wallet credentials are collected by Omise and do not pass through PolySub's servers.

• A v5.9 Pro purchase pays for one monthly or yearly access period and does not renew automatically. You may buy another period when the current one ends.
• A monthly purchase includes 2,000 PolySub AI credits. A yearly purchase includes 24,000 credits. Included credits are available during that purchased Pro period and are used before top-up credits. Separately purchased top-up credits do not expire. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.
• Managed Live Transcribe is metered from successfully processed audio duration at 9 credits per minute. Small audio segments are combined across one session before rounding, so customers are not charged a full credit for every internal upload chunk.
• Refunds. Payments are refundable where required by applicable consumer protection law. Included AI credits are a consumable digital benefit and are non-refundable once spent.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service to violate a video platform's terms or any third party's rights;
• probe, overload, resell, or programmatically abuse the managed AI endpoints (rate limits apply);
• reverse-engineer the paid entitlement system.

7. Community content

If you publish a community translation, you confirm that it is your work or that you have permission to share it. You keep ownership of your contribution and grant PolySub a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, moderate, display, and distribute it with the original video. The license you choose on publication also applies to other users.

Community translations may be inaccurate or offensive. PolySub may hide or remove content, suspend contributors, preserve moderation records, and respond to valid copyright notices. Publishing also means accepting the Community Guidelines. Public pages show only a short teaser; the complete translation is rendered with the original video.

8. Copyright reports and takedowns

Rights holders can use the copyright reporting page. Repeat infringers may lose community publishing access. Contributors may be notified of a complaint and given an opportunity to respond where the law permits.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PolySub's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for third-party service outages or actions.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this site or by email to account holders. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
